Associate Head of School: Nori J. Madrigal

Nori J. Madrigal is the Associate Head of School of St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School.
 
Mrs. Madrigal holds a BA in Art and a BA in Elementary Education from Humbolt State University in California.  In addition, she received a MA in Curriculum and Instruction, Summa Cum Laude, from Colorado Christian University.  
 
Mrs. Madrigal has received additional professional training from Harvard University in their Leading for Understanding Program; The University of Notre Dame’s ACE Academy’s Latino Enrollment Institute; Independent School Management’s (ism) retreat on Strategic Curriculum Planning; and Heidi Hayes Jacobs Curriculum 21 Training. Mrs. Madrigal’s rich and broad curricular background, including STEM and curriculum mapping, is of immense strategic value in her role as Associate Head of School.

Mrs. Madrigal's experiences at the Colorado Springs School, Colorado Springs, CO (1993-2014), included that as a teacher of art for PreK - 5th Grade from 1993-2011 (five years as the Academic Division Leader); the school’s Director of Admission for PreK - 12th Grade from 2011-2014; and as its Interim Head of School for PreK – 12th Grade for the 2013-14 school year. In addition, Mrs. Madrigal has served in such capacities as the Director of the Colorado Springs School’s Summer Programs and its New Horizon’s Program, the school’s after-school enrichment program.
 
Following her remarkable and much heralded tenure at the Colorado Springs School, Mrs. Madrigal has more recently served as the Interim Head of School at Rosarian Academy K-8 in West Palm Beach in 2014-15, and this year, 2015-16, as Interim Principal/Head at Saint Luke Catholic School, Palm Springs, Florida.
