Admission to St. Thomas

St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School adheres to a longstanding policy of admitting students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin and entitles them to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the School. Accordingly, the School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, financial assistance programs, or school-administered programs.

St. Thomas seeks to enroll children who will benefit from its values, purpose, program, and families who will enjoy our warm community. Prospective students are evaluated at all ages to determine their abilities and readiness to work alongside currently enrolled students.

Immunization Requirements
St. Thomas mandates immunizations as required by the Florida Department of Health. Prior to attendance in our School, each student must have on file with St. Thomas a certificate of immunization for the prevention of communicable diseases, for which this department requires immunization. A completed Florida Certificate of Immunization (form DH680) is required to document the administration of prescribed immunization doses. An exemption from immunization requirements is permissible only with a physician's certification as to the need for either a temporary or permanent medical exemption. An exemption from these requirements is not permissible for religious, philosophical, personal, or other reasons.
