Support our Parish

Calling for Your Support of the 2026 Stewardship Campaign in Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of St. Thomas Episcopal Church

Stewardship is more than just a practice—it's a spiritual discipline. It’s a habit we intentionally cultivate to bring our will into closer alignment with God's will. The amount you give is secondary to the practice of regularly setting aside a portion of your wealth, whether weekly or monthly. This is why making a pledge matters.

In the Episcopal Church, as in many others, the tithe—giving one-tenth of one’s income—is recognized as a biblical standard. If that feels overwhelming, consider starting with one or two percent and gradually working toward the goal of tithing.

Stewardship encompasses everything we do with the gifts God has entrusted to us—our possessions, our lives, and ourselves. It’s not merely about funding the church. Stewardship is the church—it’s the way we participate fully in the Body of Christ. We give not because God or the church needs it, but because we need to give.

As we embark on this year's stewardship journey, let us take a moment to reflect on and express gratitude for the devoted group of parishioners who laid the foundation for what would become St. Thomas 75 years ago. Celebrating this milestone gives us an opportunity to honor the legacy of those who came before us, and to look ahead with joy and hope for all that's to come thanks to your continued generosity and support.

I encourage you to prayerfully reflect on what St. Thomas means to you and how you can contribute to its ongoing ministry. Giving is an act of faith, and as we step out in faith, God blesses us abundantly in return.

In Christ's peace,

Father Tim
