Meals Ministry: Meals to help individuals or families during times of illness, hospitalization of a family member, the birth of a baby, or a death in the family are arranged by this ministry. Contact: Reed Humphery reed.h.humphery@gmail.com
Lay Eucharistic Visitors: Communion from the Reserved Sacrament can be brought to the home, hospital, nursing home, or rehab by a licensed lay person when an individual or family indicates they would desire that. Contact: John and Ann Rose anngrose65@bellsouth.net
Altar Flowers: Altar flowers bring the church into hospital rooms and homes of parishioners who are sick or homebound, or who are celebrating
birthdays, anniversaries, or other occasions. Contact: Nanci Mitchell nancimitchell63@gmail.com
Home Visits: Being homebound can be lonely. Lay people who have received training from the Diocese are available to visit parishioners in homes and in nursing and rehab facilities. Contact: John and Ann Rose anngrose65@bellsouth.net
Caring for the Care Giver: Caring for the Caregiver is a support group for anyone dealing with a loved one who needs assistance in caring
for himself or herself. Meetings on Zoom or in-person provide an opportunity to share ideas. Contact: Mary Lou Shad tom.lulu@att.net
Spiritual Direction: A centuries-old Christian tradition, Spiritual Direction or Spiritual Companionship is a contemplative process of accompanying individuals
on their spiritual journeys, primarily through monthly meetings. Certified lay people at St. Thomas are available. Contact: Ann Rose anngrose65@bellsouth.net
