Kindergarten “Mind Movers” explore number sense and problem solving through small group interactions and exercises. Students investigate, discover, apply, and explain mathematical concepts through the use of concrete and pictorial representations.
This program is the perfect introduction to the structured environment of a Kindergarten classroom, allowing children to build a strong foundation and friendships at the same time.
    Entering Grades 1-5
Mind Movers is an exciting academic program led by highly motivated and experienced classroom teachers. Our small class size provides an intimate experience, tailored to meet individual needs. The program focuses on challenging and personalized opportunities to build reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills while keeping learning enjoyable. Campers will experience the thrill of authorship as they go through the writing and editing process and ultimately publish their work.
Our program also offers your child the opportunity to explore the glorious world of mathematics! Hands-on learning, problem-solving activities, and thought-provoking games, based on the Singapore Math Philosophy, nurtures number sense and fact fluency.
Mind Movers eliminates the “summer slump,” keeping youngsters entertained and challenged. They will end the summer months confident and prepared for the coming year.

Parents can register their St. Thomas student(s) for a half-day or full-day. The half-day hours are noon to 3 p.m. and the full-day hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For your convenience, we offer FREE extended morning care and aftercare! Campers may arrive as early as 8 a.m. and may be picked up as late as 4 p.m.

If a child is registered for 3 or more sessions during your initial registration, you will receive a discounted rate of $5off per camp!
The fees for Day Off Camp are $40 for a half day and $65 for a full day.

Camp includes lunch! Two slices of Power Pizza, fruit, and a cold drink will be served to all campers.
