I wanted to give you a warm welcome to St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School on behalf of the Parents Association. We are so excited that you are joining us this year and we look forward to getting to know all of you. 2018-2019 is sure to be filled with lots of fun at St. Thomas!
The St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School Parents Association (STEPS PA) is an inclusive, voluntary association comprised of parents of students enrolled at the school. It is an integral part of the school and an important source of support to the teachers and administrators. Parents help plan, coordinate, and volunteer at school events and fundraisers that benefit our school and student body. These activities help ensure that St. Thomas continues to be a model for academic excellence and a school where students are nurtured, challenged and taught to honor God, themselves and others.
STEPS PA is under the exceptional guidance of the Director of Parent Relations, Roberta Meyeringh, and this year’s STEPS PA Board. The board members are elected because of their knowledge of school procedures and policies as well as their involvement in school activities. Parents find volunteering and being active members of the STEPS PA community a rewarding and enriching experience for themselves and their children. We encourage and welcome your participation on one or more of the committees. You can participate as little or as much as your schedule allows. Volunteering is a wonderful way to get to know other parents at the school and the perfect way to be involved in your child’s school life.
Your involvement will give you the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping St. Thomas, and that at the same time you are helping those that matter most in your life… your children. Please feel free to contact any of us if you have any questions, comments or suggestions. We hope you get on board and that your experience at St. Thomas is unforgettable.
